What kind of files do you want to convert? Video files? Audio files? MS Office files? Programs? Something else?

Being more specific might help in directing you to the right applications.

i have lots of files, windows based such as medical dictionary, english dictionary which I'd like to used in my Nokia 6600. I dont know how to convert them.Could you please help me how? or is there a software to that so that I can upload any files to my cel. thanks

Still more info is needed.

What file formats are used by those dictionaries (what application - name, version, maker - made the dictionaries)?

Are they application-specific (only the Windows dictionary application developer knows what the format is)?

Are they using a database format (like Microsoft Access, or something)?

Are they spreadsheet files (e.g., Microsoft Excel format files)?

Or are they just text files?

The file name extension (.xls, .mdb, .txt, .hlp, or whatever) might provide a clue, if you don't know. You could also ask whomever created the dictionary.

You can upload almost all of your files form PC to your fone. All you need all a cable/ Bluetooth port/ irDA port to connect your fone to PC and a software like PC Suite (or just a card-reader to upload directly to MMC). But, the problem is that the fone may not understand your files, so that you need to make them into right formats :
Video : *.3gp, *.avi... (can be read by 3rd party applications)
Music : *.mp3, *.wav, *.ogg...(can be read by 3rd party applications)
Text : *.txt (can be read by the fone itself but also depend on the fonts)
...

If you need more help, plz tell me
