Feature in 6630 not in 6680

Hello.

I just recently got a 6680 and before I made the purchase, I was deciding between 6630 and 6680.

one thing I noticed is not in 6680 and i really like is the camera dial feature (Not sure what's called).

6630, you can take a picture of a phone number on a business card (align the number on the red line) then it will recognitize the number and offer options to call or add to contact.

now, why is 6680 doesn't have this? can this be added using software?

other than that... I love my 6680

Hi ya.
That is not a standard feature - we have 4 6630's in the office and none of them have this feature, so it must have been an add-on peice of software, from your service provider I guess.
Sounds good thou, if you find it let me know!!

ya.. its a default program on the hk 6630 mmc... but the program in fact is quite useless... most of the time it can't recognize the correct number... :icon13:

i finally found it!!!

it's called Cardscan.sis and it's bundled in the asian version of 6680/6630
it works great, i can scan take picture of a business card and call that number.

it's very sensentive..... worked about 70% of the time.... when it fails, just retry.

If you guys want to give it a shot, just let me know and I'll post it.
