Screen Saver Time Change

Is there any way to change the maximum time for the screen saver?

I have seen programs that keep the screen backlight on all the time by using the 'KeepBacklightActive' command in the program,

But all I want to do is change the on time to 30 minutes?

Must be an inf file hack?

Carl,

I know it's in the Control Panel, but need it to be longer,

I know on my 9210 there was a program that changed it, So I'm assuming that it's in the registry or INF file?

Carl,

WST wrote:Unless I understood wrong, you can do it with Roman Keller's LightPlus utility. Try the follwing URLs. Finding it was tricky as Roman abandoned developing for Symbian 😞

You'll need the OPL Lib:

Roman's archive is in German.

I hope it works. Good luck...

I've Tried it before,

Ok, it keeps the light on but it's not a well written program, and with no future support, :frown:

I could write something in SBasic or maybe OPL, but would prefer just to change the settings,

Well, if you're a PowerDesk user, you can assign a 'hotkey' to keep the backlight always on. I find this function very useful and use it all the time when I'm browsing or reading an e-book.
