Originally I was planning to buy Nokia 6630. But I saw that I can get Nokia 6600 at half that price. I want to know are there significant differences between these two phones ?
I am looking for these features in a phone :
1. Good MP3 player
2. Ability to download vast applications and java games
3. Easy maintainbility
4. Camera (Not neccessary a high resolution one, I have my digicam for that 😉 )
6600 Owners -> Please let me know of any features of 6600 you do not like and features that you like.
actually the 6600 doesnt have a pre installed mp3 player, it doesnt mean that you cant listen to mp3 but somehow there are third party applications available somewhere so no prob with mp3 but theres difference between the loud speakers of these two.
basically they have the same platform but the 6630 has higher downloading speeds compared to nokia 6600 but both uses gprs so there's not much difference, if youre on a tight budget go with the 6600, nokia change models faster than you can imagine anyway........ 😃

Better videorecord function
Hot-swap memory (don't need to turn off your phone to change MMC card)
Larger internal memory (10MB kontra 6600's 6 MB)
The 6630 is alot better than 6600.
And if you buy the phone used, it dosen't cost alot more than the 6600.
But the 6600 is a great phone too! So if you don't need megapixel cam, stereo sound, 3G, then you maybe should just buy 6600

the 6630 is definately a better phone due to all the features listed in the previous post BUT there isn't a way to unlock it.i just bought 1 and got rid of my 6600 but now after 2 days i put my 6630 on ebay because you cant unlock it 😞
