File number limit

Is there some sort o file number limit inside a folder?
I've put some folders in the sd containing (many) midis a mmfs (more than 1000 files each).
When i try to browse inside using fexplorer or any other app it crashes after a while.
Anyone knows the limit?

No idea. May even vary depending on what file browser you are using.

Try handyfile.............

Same thing happens with the mp3 mplayer for example, in that folders.

hi,

I think it has to do with the amount of files in those folders: the fexplorer takes a long time building the list of files and eventualy the symbian OS decides the app crashed it and kills it before it drains the battery.

Try to put fewer files on those folders or split the files across a couple of folders.
