How to open my 9500

Ok, I know we shouldn't open our phones our selfs,

But I think my backlight problem is a connector working loose?

If I gently squeze on the bottom hinge area then the front display on my phone works perfectly,

I would like to try and fix it myself if I can, don't like the idea of sending my phone away and having to wait for it to be returned, I use it all the time,

Anyone know how to open the phone without breaking anything?

Where are the screws hidden?

Diagrams would be good,

Carl,

I dont know if this is of any help to you, but you can get some photos of what a 9500 looks like when you take it apart by looking at the material that was filed in connection with the FCC approval.

Go to the FCC's search page...

https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm

... and key in the grantee code (PDN) and the product code (RA-2) and press "Start Search". You will then be taken to the official testing reports of the 9500 - one of these has lots of internal photos.

Thanks for the info,

Worked a treat,

Even if I could get the phone compleatly apart, (Couldn't get the Keyboard PCB off)

Outside phone works fine now, 😊

Carl,
