New Doom port released for the 9300/9500
Hi! I have a complete commercial version of Doom II that I am using the wad from. I have downloaded C2Doom and Doom Play and installed them both on my 9500. I do not use Powerdesk. When I first ran C2Doom it recognized my wad and asked me if that was the one I wanted to use. When I chose single player mode it started to launch and then crashed giving me an error message that it couldn't find any w init files. Does anyone know what that means and does anyone have a work around? I copied my wad directly off of the dos CD, I didn't download it at all so I tend to trust that it is okay. Any help would be appreciated.
