im having a few problems (im in new zealand and using v.fone as my provider):
a. after a while im not sure how long but my phone goes to offline mode. and then when i try to switch back to general as my profile it tries to register simcard and does silly stuff.
b. when sudden movements occur it tries to restart by displaying a message "your phone will now restart" or "please insert simcard"
now i have overcome these probs by pulling the simcard out and restarting the phone. im not sure if problem b is due to being dropped or something like that. and currently i have pulled out my memory card which came with phone to solve these probs. btw can someone tell me which number i need to press to findout which firmware version is being used?

It sounds like the sim card is not making contact with phone. Is it a new sim card? If it is have phone checked by NSC. It sounds like phone wants to restart to offline mode when it cant read the sim card.

I seem to be havin probs with my n6680.
1)The pics keep vanishing and i am unable to retrieve them
2)Does anyone who uses agile face any probs?? i seem to always have some probs and i am unable to remove it from the phone too!!
3)will formating the mmc card help??

Hi how do u chek?? i tried but i am unable to get the firmware type??!!
my version is:
v2.04.15
04-03-05
RM-36
and i dont think its anything wrong with the simcard because ive been using it with other phones. so im guessing its a phone fault. after a while it says "unable to register simcard" so it must be something to do with the operating system. please help me if anyone knows anything about this. thanks

I have the same version.
It sounds like a fault with phone. Not reading Simcard correctly. Have it checked by Service Centre
