Finally received my TTM5 and when I start TomTom from the desk, I get the following error:
Program closed
Program: TomTom
Reason code: CMdaAudioOutputS
Reason Number: 6
Does anyone know what this error is? And how I go about fixing this?
I've asked TomTom CS and waiting for a reply, could be awhile, :frown:

What happens if you restart the 9500?

Hmmm.... the error message suggests a problem with the audio side of things. Have you anything else installed which might be trying to lock/use the audio circuits?
I'll forward your problem to TT myself and see if I can get one of the programmers to comment.

All I can find in my installed apps relating to audio is:
Advanced audio support V2.0 System - Nokia Content
MediaServer OPX (C) Symbian V0.40 System - Unsigned (Installed with Smuggers)
Streaming Audio Backport V1.0 Application - Unsigned (Installed along with Astronix)
I don't have any apps that auto start that I'm aware of,
I have contacted TomTom but knowing their CS, I don't expect a reply before 48 hours, :frown:
But thanks, Hope you can get a reply,
Carl,

It's worth trying removing Astronix. MediaServer OPX is OK, as that's on my unit as well.

Did TomTom get back to you? They didn't to me...
Insanely great software and appalling comms to their customers :frown:

Carl,
You have private messages.

Right, I decided that I would reformat the phone,
Reformating the phone, TomTom Mobile 5 now works,
Could not backup all my settings and have been reputting them back in, slowly,
I am now reinstalling all the software I had on my phone, one at a time, then checking that TomTom still works,
I will post here when I find out what program conflicks with TTM5,
I have noticed a bug with TTM5 for the 9500, when using custom voices and POI warnings, the bit rates seam to change, sometimes the voices are like a chipmonk and other times, like Barry White,
Carl,
P.S. Thanks Slitchfield for the address,

I haven't got the retail version (I had a late release candidate emailed to me), but I believe you say which version you want when ordering and the right sort of MMC/binaries get included in the right box, etc.

Yes, when you order, you choose which phone you want to use it on,
Carl,
