Still no incomming calls while playing MP3

7 replies · 2,785 views · Started 18 July 2005

I still don't receive any incomming calls while playing MP3 even with the new firmware.
It is even so that when i stop playing an MP3 i have to restart my phone in order to be able to reveive calls.

Anyone knows what causes this problem or does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Dag henry ik heb het zelfde probleem

i do have the same problem

Ik al een tijdje niet meer 😉
I haven't had the problem for a while now. The biggest problem I had lately though was when I was using the MP3-player, and I had a call. After I finished the call most of the times the MP3-player would use the normal phonespeaker for the sound. Which, besides the crackling sound of that speaker, also makes it impossible to put the volume to the maximum, because that speaker can't handle it.
In a worst case scenario you could lose calls if you don't turn the MP3-player on after the call, which makes you miss call. Especially since the I use the maximum volume level for ringtones.

The glitch is surely somewhere in the transition from the handsfree speakers to the phone speaker. But I doubt that problem will ever be fixed. I did send my Sendo out for repairs so hopefully they will do a total check-up.

My sendo just came back from repair. No result. I'm starting to give up on this phone.

Does anyone know if it's possible to claim any warranty at the shop I bought the phone?

I've been told that this problem was fixed, and I haven't seen it for some time now, so am not sure if there's much I can suggest.

The only thing which might make a difference is to re-format the phone a couple of times using the 5 key, then re-flash with the latest 1.198.8.2 firmware, then re-format a couple more times and see if that makes any difference.

(I have seen phones where they "remember" some of the old firmware's existance, causing odd problems until re-formatted a few times)

I have same problem, after reformat it's worked one time, but not anymore.

Same here, worked once.

I tried 7 formats, reflash, 5 formats, no result. Even tried expasys version of the software.

Does everyone with this problem have a first generation phone?
