Does anybody know a way to change the profile to silent with just one click, or a hot-key, or at least a combination key??

YOU can do that by application called 'smartprofile' search for it by the net and put it in ur mobile
you can change ur profile status by time its very cool

Not that it helps with the 7610/6670, but at least on newer phones like the 6630 or the 6680 the phone switches between General/Silent profiles with a long press of the '#' key in the standby state (if there is no "Line 2" function/feature).
