When I try to access the sis file in the server in order to install the application to my phone, I am getting this error message: Services: Reply unknown. Why? But the http address is correct. do I have to make some settings? For example, any mime type setting?
For .sis files the MIME settings on the web server needs to be "application/vnd.symbian.install). File and directory protection must also allow anonymous access (or you need to supply credentials as needed depending on how you've configured your server).
You must also have the server visible on the Internet, and appropriate GPRS Internet Access Point settings on your phone + a subscription that allows you to use it.
