Hi fellow X users,
today I wanted to try to update or install the new Firmware or Cell Phone software 1.198.8.2 : 78
Well after downloading the drivers, and Firmware I put the X in its Download mode.
But the installer gives me the error Cell Phone not found.
Also I noticed the USB connector on the X screen goes from Black (5sec) to Red (5sec) and back to Black.
What could be the error here, the Phone or the software on the Computer?

Did you install the correct drivers??
The ones for the firmware upgrade are not the same that u use with the pc connect program, they are in C:SendoXUpdate after you have installed the firmware updater prog, i've had the same problem, but the drivers you need are in there.

I installed the Drivers that where posted on sendo.com.

The drivers needed when the phone is in update mode are included with the firmware downloads. Look in the C:\SendoXupdate folder for them.
I can't access download mode anymore either - I just performed an update (see my other posts: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/39506/#post234932#post234932).
I always enter download mode then connect to the pc, so it's not a pc driver issue at this stage...
