No matter if it's a Mac, Windows or Linux box, you can get a VNC Server (Virtual Networked Computer) for your desktop. All you need now is a client to log on from another computer to drive your desktop. Now, with MochaVNC for the 9500, your Communicator acan show you the screen, be the keyboard, and acat as the mouse no matter where you are in the world. Just get an internet connection and it's like sitting at your own desk.

Just installed on my 9300 (No WiFi), but it seems not to work over bluetooth. 😞 I hope some day that IP bridge stuff will work over bluetooth, then i could use the vnc when im outside the house, wich would rock! 😊

I tried. Mocha VNC client (for Communicator 9500) crashes systematically at connection, using RealVNC or TightVNC server ("Program closed: vnc, Reason code: USER-EXEC, Reason number: 3"😉.
Uninstalled. Too bad.

Hello, I was looking for something like this to remote control the new program of Apple "Front Row" (http://www.apple.com/imac/frontrow.html) on my ibook, and it works great ! The nokia 9500 is just like a remote control. I figure out though I have to stop the firewall for it to work. All features are also on, I'm seeing the entire Desktop on the 9500's screen. Only problem I found, when Dock is hidden, impossible to reach with the mouse remotely.

Thanks a lot for this great job !
