Editing Contacts on 9300

Dear People,
I've a client who has nokia 9300 and asked me to help him in editing his contacts.
The problem is that he has lots of contacts from his old phones and there's stuff like blank spaces beetween words, capitol letters and stuff:
i.e. J O H N S M I T H
Janet
JAMES
etc etc...
he would like to have every contact in the same format.

I need to know which is the format of the contacts (vcards?)
and if there's a good editor on pc..
can anyone help me?
thanks
Kokko

You can use PC Suite (http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite) to synchronize the contacts into MS Outlook or Lotus Notes on a PC & edit them there (or, e.g., from Outlook export them to .csv or .xls files to edit). PC Suite also has a Contacts Editor app to edit them from the PC directly on the phone.

There are also apps for the 9210/9300/9500 that export/import contacts to a .csv or a vCard file on the phone (then you copy the file to a PC for editing). Search for, e.g., "Smart vCard" in the shop: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/

Thank you for the answer,
is .xls the extension of excel?
I'll try!
Thank you again
