Comminicator Died

Don't worry or better get used to it
It seems that this problem is still not solved yet with firmware 3.62. Hopefully 4.13 will have some improvements. For the time being you'd better take your charger with you...
I had the same problem a few times with 3.54, but none so far with 3.62. Let's wait and see...

Thats odd. I had that problem with 3.18, and at first i fixed it with the charger... but i noticed that if i took the battery out for 1min or so then put it back all was well!
Now on 3.54 and have never had the problem since!

I have this problem about once a month under 3.62. You can wake up the communicator by shorting (connecting) the battery connection pins <b>on the communicator</b> with a coin, when the battery has been removed.

No doubt you could also solve this using a pocket charger that runs off a PP3 battery.

I also have that problem with 3.62 but can you update the firmware already to 4.13 or is it not available?

They were posted before the release of 4.13.
