i just have to do a hard reset every now and then because my phone restarts whenever i press any key. my problem is why it keeps restating like that since it's annoying for me to reinstall all application after the hard reset

Um I'm guessing you have a 6630, I'm also guessing that if you try to text or enter the phonebook it crashes back to the desktop? If this is the case its caused by the user T9 dictionary file becoming corrupted, basically its the file that saves all of the new words you enter while using predictive text, to solve the problem use fexplorer or similar and navigate to C:\System\Data and delete the file named PTIT9UDBOF.DAT you will lose any words you entered into predictive text but its a small loss if it gets your phone working again. :icon14:
ya you are right i've got a 6630. when on the desktop and i press a key it just restarts. do you think that if i stop using t9 the problem will stop occurring????
also the dictionary provided in 6630 doesn't work and i can't delete it. when i try opening it says "dictionary word information missing. install word database". any guess on how to delete it?
