9300 back-up issues

I can't seem to back-up my contacts/emails. Phone is syncing to a new laptop and the files back-up/transfer no problem, but get an error message on contacts, calendar, & email.

I've tried both bluetooth & USB connections and both Back-up and File transfer to PC. When I open the Nokia Phone Browser on my PC, I'm able to see the files stored, but messages and contacts folders are both empty (even though there's about 600 contacts on the phone and viewable from browsing the phone).

Does someone have an easier way to just dump my current contacts and emails into a dedicated folder in Outlook? I'm ok with buying 3rd party software if it'll make this easier in the future.

TIA

When using Nokia Phone Browser, I can open the folders under Nokia 9300/Device Memory (C😊/Messages, and all the correct folders seem to be there: Drafts, Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, however the first time I click on one to browse, I get a pop-up error message:

"The mobile phone rejected the operation"

I can then open the folders, but all are empty (even though they're not on the phone)

Try doing a backup on the phone (using the phones backup utility). Then go to your memory card where you will see a backup folder. It should have the same things there.
