Status on Wireless ActiveSync???

I posted this on HowardForums and never got a response...I figured I'm definite on the wrong forum...so here is the same question:

I'm still waiting for DataBiz' RoadSync release to come out. Hopefully, it'll come out this month as they announced that it would...

I know Nokia licensed the ActiveSync from Microsoft as well...and they made that announcement but nothing further.

Does anybody else here know the status on these things? My Nokia 9300 would be SOOOO much more useful if it synced with our Exchange Server over the air....

I doubt you'll hear anything from Nokia until there's a phone with ActiveSync support built-in.

In the meanwhile you can wait for RoadSync for your 9300, or you can buy (or try to find an open source implementation) and install a SyncML Server which you connect to your Exchange server (the built-in remote sync feature on the 9300 talks to a SyncML server).

With a SyncML server you'll get calendar/contacts synchronization over the air. For email, you need to configure your Exchange server for POP3 or IMAP4.
