USB Driver Installation

Trying to connect the Sendo X to my home computer (under Windows98SE) by usb, I install PC Connect and mRouter. The system recognises the Sendo X as new hardware but I cannot get the usb driver to install. Even when I point specifically to the driver on the disc, or downloaded from Sendo website, it does not install or at least mRouter does not find a connection.

Can anyone suggest a way of installing the driver or getting mRouter to work?

At my office, the computer runs on NT/2000 and the installation was successful so I have PC Connect, mRouter working over usb.

Doesnt that suggest a problem specific to my home computer with 98SE ?

I have exactly the same problem, so it`s not your pc. I`ve tried with drivers from the cd and sendo page too. Still not working. OS Win98

Someone else had this problem and asked in sendo page but the answer was to use the usb driver in that page, that, as we know now is not the real solution

So, if someone could help us,

Hi, I just buy the X, and when trying to connect it ot my PC, it just says"Please, connect the device". I have WIN98SE, of course. If anyone know something about this, I would apreciate. Thanks.

try this - do not uninstall pc connect

download the version from the Sendo site

install it in a different directory than it wants to default to

connect your phone and ensure you point it to the newly created directory

reboot your machine and try again

you should be connected now. also, if you plan to flash your firmware, you will want to use the drivers from the expanded firmware update directory as they are different than the ones for pc connect.
