Please find attached to this post some files from the 3650. Inlcudes the Video Player, Field Test App, and File Browser. Don't whether they will work with the 7650 but might do 😊

Mr. 3650
Anybody figure out how to get them onto 7650 and run them?
Wow,you ripped the whole package,app files dlls etc etc,well it should work cause both,the 7650 and 3650 are series 60 devices,i cant try it right now 'cause my phone is beeing shiped to Germany for repairs,if any trys it,let us know.
8) Im not too sure about it but It could work quite nicely on the 7650... However if the 3650 had different hardware...etc... then this would be a bit of a prob {i.e. slower or incompatible}... but lets just hope it is!
Remember people the 7650 is only gonna be "top of the range" for another 3-6 months as soon as its replaced by all those nice new Nokia babies we'll all be breaking the piggy bank wanting them... {greed- an amazing sin}
The only thing we do have is the fact that some of the new nokia mobs (e.g. 3650) are based on series 60 {me not too sure what that is}. Therefore lets hope there is some compatibility between them! This should ensure that the Software released for future mobs should work pretty well on ours 😊

Unfortunately "Field Test" still doesn't work... even with that "Field.dll" ... does any1 know a valid "decompiler"/"debugger" for symbian files? probably, anyway, the .APP file will not run since it's compiled to be executed "in place" on system ROM... but anyway I think some people with technical skills (i.e. symbian programmers) could "hack" that and be able to create a program that uses that DLL and/or the phone internal functions to create a clone of the "field test" program... am I just dreaming?
and as for the video UI... hmmmm I'm not sure it will work, anyway I will try a little more later on this...
now... out!! it's saturday and I don't think I will stay home any longer!! :bday:
