Help please

This software is driving me nuts.....
apart from being unbelievably slow
when I have finished and load the sis file I get an error
saying:-
Cannot install series60 Scalabl eskins support required

Can,t find anything on this anywhere

Can anyone HELP !!

Please use a more meaningful subject/title than "Help please".

What the error means is that you used Series 60 Theme Studio 2.0 which creates themes for phones based on Series 60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3 or later (e.g., the N90 or N70).

For older phones you should use Series 60 Theme Studio 1.2.

The only way to make it faster is to get a faster PC (processor) so that the Java virtual machine (VM) runs faster. More memory might help a bit, too.

You seem to be correct 1.2 works ok
my phone is a 6630 only 2 months old ,without checking I thought
it would need the latest software,guess I was wrong
My pc is a P4 3ghz with 512mb not exactly a dinosaur.

P.S. I thought Help please in the series 60 -2.0 themes was pretty meaningful
and polite ???

Polite, yes (you said please). Meaningful, no. A more meaningful title would've been, for example, something like: "Can't install new theme on 6680 - scalable skin support error" (leaving the "please"s and "thank you"s in the actual message).
