Coverphone earpiece

Need help...When I make or receive a call on the coverphone, I can't hear anything. It's as if the earpiece has stopped working. Opening up the clamshell and using conference works fine. I have tried a soft reset and also done a full format, still no joy. Any ideas?

Have you dropped the phone, or has it gotten wet or something? In any case, in any case, it doesn't sound [no pun intended] like a software problem, so you probably should take it to your nearest authorized Nokia service/repair center to have them check it out.
