Have been trying to get my 9300 to syn with my BES and T-mobile's Blackberry division told me Friday that Blackberry Connect software (needed for phone to operate with push emails like Blackberry's) is now available in the UK but they couldn't tell me how to find it or who was releasing it (pre-installed or downloadable).
Anyone have any info on where to get Blackberry Connect software or another decent application to make my 9300 operate like the Blackberry?
TIA

from Austria... I do not have a 9300 to test with, but happened upon it today. Good luck, please let me know of success/failures. If it works, I am going to get a 9300 straight away.

All the UK networks which curently offer blackberry are working on connect.
The 9300 requires the latest version of the device firmware and also a *.sis application to work.
Did you get sold you 9300 as a BB connect version?
You will need to purchase (I expect) the *sis application, upgrade your firmware and also notify your network that you would like that device used as a blackberry. (the APN needs to be added to you account etc etc)

I was sold the phone "as is", knowing it would take some work to get working. We have the BES running on our network and 200+ people in the company using blackberry 7230's on Tmobile's network.
Haven't found someone to translate German for me yet, is the *sis application available for purchase there (posted above)? What version of firmware do you need to be running (I'm sure it's not the latest version). Not sure what the APN is, is this how I tell the BES to send messages to my 9300 vs my RIM7230?
Thanks again
