Have taken my 6630 to have the software upgraded at a nokia service centre in Cannock ,(dont think he new that much), my phone keeps switching off .
So he flashed it once said it was done, walked away thinking it was done, then tapped in the *#oooo# to get the software, and there it was,the same software,
ie V 2.39.151 19/11/04.RM1.
So went back to the shop to try again, idiot prob didnt try it to see if it had changed, there he flashed it 2 more times, comes back and said its prob be the phone, any ideas please.
Cheers,
Steve

Come on you lot, i need help please
I think he is flashing the phone according product code,
so even new firmware is out but if there is no update for that product it wouldn't flash new software in to the phone.
E.G. My 9500 is from Voda Uk if i flash it according to product code it would flash to V4.44 but if i flash manuly then i can flash the updated firmware.
Firmware 2.39.151 is really old now there is new firmware for 6630 so i think he must be doing some thing wrong.
I have a phone shop so don't ask me how i do it at home.
