I have been a fairly hardcore user of Palm OS since around 1999, although I've never had a Treo. Right now I'm using a Tungsten T3, and accessing the net via bluetooth to my SE T616.
I mostly use my Palm for Contacts, Calendar, email, web surfing, games, personal finance, photo and video viewer, track travel info (flights, hotel confirmations, etc.) and as a memo pad
I'm going to be upgrading to a Nokia Series 60 phone, and I have some questions:
1) Given the uses I mentioned above, which phones should I be looking at? I can't seem to figure out the naming scheme for Nokia phones. Money isn't that much of an issue, so I'm looking for a phone on the high end.
2) Has anyone else made this transition? How difficult was it?
3) How do I transfer my data (calendar info, contacts, memos, etc.) over?
4) How long does it take to get quick and efficient with T9? Are there other text entry options? As an aside, I wonder if Nokia will make a phone with a QWERTY keyboard?
5) I've read Russel Beatty's excellent article, and I'm wondering what other people's favorite 3rd party apps are, especically games!
6) Anything else I should know before making this leap of faith?
Thanks in advance for any input,
