Transfer all data from 7650 to 9500 — Nokia 9300 and 9500

hi guys! i got a 9500, and started transfering the contacts, whats the fastest way to transfer all data (contacts, calendar, etc.) from my 7650 to a 9500 phone? 😊
using bluetooth, i have to transfer them one by one 😞

If the new version of Nokia's PC suite supports the 7650 then that might be the way to go,

Copy contacts to PC via PC suite, then connect 9500 and transfer them back,

(Never tried it, so not sure if it works)

The new Nokia PC Suite does not support the 7650. Do use PC Suite, one must first use the 7650 version of PC Suite to synchronize with, e.g., Outlook & then use the newer PC Suite 6.x with the 9500 to synchronize again.

However, perhaps the built-in (to the 9500) Data transfer app works with the 7650 (see the 9500 User's Guide for instructions).

Or you can install applications like Smart VCard and such on the 7650 to export the contacts to a vCard file (which you then have to move from the phone to the other).

Hi,

I have the same situation, Got upgraded from a 7650 to a 9300. Now the data mover app on the 9300, as suggested doesn't work with the 7650 😡 Also I have Smart Vcard installed on the 7650, which when all contacts are exported saves a file (*.vcf) in the phone. However, when I move the file to the 9300, only the first contact is saved. Please help

You also have to use Smart vCard on the 9500, using it to import from the multi-contact VCF file.

Yes. But why did you ask here, waiting 12 hours for an answer? You could have found out in 30 seconds by just going to the developer's site? 8-)
