SMS via iRDA

hey all..!

i'm trying to send a sms via irda.. but an error message appeared, that the other phone doesn't support sent data .. i tried to send to alot of nokia phones with no success..!

I've just done it myself.
Sending file sover from 1 92xx to another. Worked great, and fast 😊

i want to send sms to another nokia phone.. not communicator..
write new message ==> send via infrared
it doesn't work or what??
is there anyway i can do it?

Sorry no idea ... didn't even know any phones with a irDa except the 7650 *g*

i think 9210 can't send sms via IR to a non-communicator (but i think 7650 will be fine)

on the other hand, i know i can send business cards to other phones via IR successfully (8310, 6310, 6510)
