mmm why not? Symbian do sell licenses to use their system and nokia sell series 60 licenses. Once the OP will have bought that, he'll just have to buy Sendo's IP (or license them) from Motorola (that's probably going to be the hard part) and there he goes 😃 I think that's a good idea.

I guess you didn't know you can purchase the S60 license.... You should do your homework before speaking out.

Not just anybody can purchase relevant licenses:

#1: First you would need a Symbian OS license from Symbian, before you could get any Series 60 code.

#2: Then, the Series 60 license is only available for Series 60 device manufacturers or related qualifying organizations supporting device manufacturers (with limited rights on how to use the code): http://www.series60.com/product_creation_community

#3: And, finally, you would then also need the hardware specific adaptations from Sendo and their semiconductor suppliers/subcontractors (not a chance to get that code from Nokia or Symbian, because they don't have/own that).

You might get past step #1 above, but #2 & #3 would be extremely difficult (& expensive), practically impossible for individuals.
