Hi everyone!!
I'm a new user for N3230 and wish to know how can i download a zip. file to my phone...
cos most of the website i've gone to download games are either jar. file or zip.file...but no matter how i tried to download to my phone , it can't...
So,can anyone help mi!! :frown:
unzip your files on pc and then transfer them to phone...but there shouldnt be any problems with jar files...
if you're having trouble downloading certain files on the phone itself, it's probably because your service provider has blocked it. i know for T-mobile t-zones services, certain extensions like exe just won't download, and there's also a limit on file sizes, which i've found to be somewhere less than 1mb. (the T-mobile Internet don't have these restrictions though.)

the jar files is worst...i can;t even find the application to download to my phone!!
so really need you all to help up
Upload jar files on the phone via PCsuit or something...
If your using Bluetooth a simple way to get your files across is to right click on them and "Send to: bluetooth" and its a few steps and your done. You get what you wanted as a message on the phone which then when it's an SIS or the likes prompts the phones installer to run and you can then install the file. Pictures can be saved and if you have forward installed as well other attachments can be removed and stoed locally or sent via other means.
Duke.
i've the PC Suite...but den when i click install application , it can't find any application in the jar file...
instead of using "Install Application" in pc suite, why don't you try "File Manager"? it's just a simple drag and drop from your pc (via windows explorer or my documents) to the Nokia file manager window. alternatively, try a card reader; again, just drag and drop to the removable drive you see in windows explorer. really, any device that reads SD cards will likely read RS-MMC (with adapter) as well... so if you have a digital camera or pda, you don't even need to buy another card reader.
