i have tried the european be and expansys firmwares but the phone still cant receive calls when the mp3 player is working, even installed a third party mp3 player but the phone still cant receive calls :frown: did anyone else come across this problem? is there any way i can solve it? have re-formatted the phone many times but it still doesnt help...any suggestions people?
mp3 bug wont go away!
Sendo did a lot of work to fix this bug, and thought they'd got to the bottom of it. From what I know, anyone still seeing this problem is seeing it because of an old setting file in their phone which hasn't been over-written by the firmware update process.
If anyone who is still seeing this problem is able to do without using their phone for a few days, I'd love to do some testing with you on how to try to fix this bug.

as always you've come to the rescue stu :icon14: i'd love to give you my phone for testing but i live in russia and shipping it back and forth will cost a bit..thanks
Unfortunately I'm experiencing this problem too, even though I didn't have it in a previous firmware (can't remember which one). I'm thinking in installing the 1.56.2.2 firmware (with some formats before and after), see if it works, and then reinstall the newest version (I use the portuguese version). Any suggestions?
I would also like to thank to all of those that, for so many times, have given tips and helped others (including me) to resolve problems of their X.
So, thanks to all.
u guys should use ogg player. it changes between tracks alot faster than the mp3 player in the x! and u can assign hotkeys for all the functions!

Hi.
Just tried the ogg player (downloaded from smartphones.com) and have exactly the same problem (can't receive phone calls when I'm listening music). I had in mind that ogg player was an alternative to those who had this problems with their mp3 player!!!
After this, I don't know what more I can do.

But to solve that, you have to completly erase the flash and rewrite it. I doubt that this is possible just by flashing the X again. I did reflash it several times using various firmware (beta und final) and had no success. As I stated before, some X just "refuse" to get updated completly. Maybe some bytes in the flash are irritated 😃If anyone who is still seeing this problem is able to do without using their phone for a few days, I'd love to do some testing with you on how to try to fix this bug.
If you have a solution i should try, just PN me 😉 Since I have access to the mmc/sd updates, only the bootloader of the X has to work. I do not need to connect to usb though 😃
Maybe I should just erase the whole c:\ ...
