hello each and everyone of you, little problem............i downloaded a theme and after i downloaded it i could'nt open my themes folder on my 6630,via FExplorer i deleted all the themes in the e/system/skins folder but there was one file that i could'nt delete.so i cut and pasted it in e/system/temp where it still is now.now its not mucked my phone up badly(i can now open the themes folder, after i cut and pasted the bad file) its just when i have the gallery open after about 20-30 seconds i get these messages pop up 'system error -20' and straight after 'system error -12' and then they disapeer wether or not i'm in images, video clips, tracks, sound clips etc.
now i dont want to format the card just yet,i was wondering if there is a computer program that cleans mmc's of corrupted files 😡 ????
or have i just gotta bite the bullett and format it or shall i just leave it as its not really doing that much(or is it)
hope someone can help as this is bugging me
thanks for reading(if you did 😉 )

If it was my card, I'd copy files I wanted to save off the card (to a PC using a card reader) and reformat it.

If you don't have a card reader, you can use PC Suite and its Phone Browser feature to copy files, but note that Phone Browser does not show all the files on the card or phone.

as already said transfer what you can and then format,

however if you format using a pc format in FAT not FAT32, otherwise the phone wont see the card.

You could also use the "error checking tool" which you can find by right mouse clicking your DV-RSMMC and selecting properties, tools in windows. In dos you could use "checkdisk".

I also had a corrupted DV-RSMMC where I could not remove a program. FFExplorer crashed right away when I entered the folder of that program. Re-Installing the same program didn't work. The only thing that worked for me was repairing the MMC with the "error checking tool". After the repair, everything was back to normal again 😃

montoya, thats exactly whats happening with my dv rs-mmc and i like what your saying mate and i'll try that out, thanks :icon14:
seems a much better idea then formatting the card

montoya,i could kiss you mate(dont worry,i wont)
it worked,just like you said!!!!!!!!
thank you very very much i really did'nt want to format my card again.
thanks again montoya :icon14: 😉
