I have just ordered the new TOMTOM mobile 5 for my Nokia 6600, will this software also work on my communicator?? I had the previous version on my 6600 and it would load the icon on the 9500 screen but when u opened the programme it would read " unrecognised format" has the new mobile 5 software got this sorted? Is it now cross compatible between 60 and 80 phones??

Software for S60 and S80 are not compatable,
If you want TomTom on a Nokia 9500, you will have to order the s80 9500 variant of TomTom Mobile 5,
I take it you've ordered the TTM5 update?

I spoke to a technical supposrt guy and he said the new ttm5 is compatible with both 60 and 80?? But i'm not sure he's right????

It is compatable with both versions,
BUT,
There are 2 different versions of the software for the 2 versions,
