Problems making a connection between PC and P910i over bluetooth

I am using windows xp and a microsoft usb bluetooth device that came with a bluetooth mouse.

The P910i have been paired with XP and during the pairing the PC can see the P910i and the reverse.

But I can't send a file from the P910i to the pc or establish a connection.

I can send a file from the PC to the P910i.

So what needs to be done to establish a bluetooth connection so I can sync over bluetooth instead of having to put the phone in the cradle.

you need to connect to the "Bluetooth Serial port". Only then that it can sync.
