I tried it on my 9500 and it works, thanks for the tip, Claude !

I just installed the .sis file and then inserted my sim card with Blackberry activated.
In control panel/messages settings, a new menu appears named "Blackberry". There, I just had to turn on the Blackberry service and everything is configured automatically, the information was probabely on the SIM card...
Then I received a message with a link to connect to the Blackberry web interface, logged in and just had to notify a change of terminal. That's all !

NB. Yesterday I updated the firmware to 5.22 as required for this sofware.

All,

Great Forum.

I downloaded and installed all of the necessary software. Acording to the Application tool on the 9300, the BB Connect has been installed correctly. However, when I go to the "Messaging" section to set up the BB Connect, "BlackBerry" is not showing up. I tried reinstalling the SIM card, turning off, on, and reinstalling several times.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

Jeremy,
I'm not a specialist, I was just lucky it worked the first time...
I can just tell you how I installed it.

First I went to the shop to upgrade to firmware 5.22, this is mandatory !
I have a french 9500...
I installed the .sis file from my computer, not from the Communicator.
Then I went to Control panel/Messaging/Blackberry and in the first tab, I did "activate" Blackberry. All the other settings have been automatically set up from the SIM card I suppose.
After that, I received a mail requesting activation of my account. I had to follow a link and reached my Blackberry account on the web interface. There, at the bottom of the page, I had to change the terminal where I receive the information. As I did this from my Communicator, it was recognised and IMEI and other codes were automatically filled in the fields. Save and exit and there I started receiving all my mails.

Hoping this will help you a little bit...

Hi Jeremy,

Did you manage to get your nokia working with the blackberry connect software? i have the same problem, where i have installed the software, all the help files are there, but no blackberry menu option exists on the message menu - Control panel/Messaging/Blackberry.

Thanks

Also, i have tested my sim card with blackberry enabled in a blackberry phone, and it works fine. I just need it to work in a nokia 9300, as I want a better functioning phone.

Thanks
