Ok heres the deal. 2 yrs. ago i got a nokia 3650 from AT&T. I've loved the phone ever since and it's always worked great.
Well on Sunday I was getting out of my gf's car and splat my phone fell in some water that had collected on the curb. I immediately open it up take out the mmc, battery and sim card and let it dry. the next day i put eveything back in and turned it on everything works except for the camera and video recorder. I cant take pictures or capture video all i get is a white screen.
So i've had ins. since i got it and i call them up and they offer to replace my phone with a motorola V551 since at&t became cingular and they don't carry any more at&t phones. Well i have several accessories for my 3650 icluding a couple 256 mb mmc's and 2 extra batteries and faceplates etc. so i was hoping to get a replacement 3650 or for them to at least fix mine.
So i voiced my concerns and they informed me that they would have a cust. serv. rep. supervisor call me within a couple days with a phone with similar features.
I was wondering if anybody here had any experiences with phone ins. people and what sort of options i have if any. Am i stuck with the V551? I don't like flip phones. Any suggestions?
