No Contact Picture when Making a Call

Hello all,

I had a warranty repair done on my 9500. During the repair, the firmware was upgraded to v4.51.

Before the upgrade, a contact pic appeared when making a call (on the inside screen, in the "telephone" mode).

No longer. Just empty space where the contact pic used to appear.

Is there some setting that I'm overlooking, or a workaround? Or is this just an inherent "feature" of v4.51? PLEASE help.

Any and all suggestione welcome.

tia (sorry if repost)

As far as I know contact pictures don't get backed-up. So when you restored the back-up after the firmware upgrade the pictures were gone. So you need to add them again manually.

I've recently had my firmware upgraded to 5.22(01),

When I recoved all my information after a backup, I've still got my pictures attached to all my contacts,

Carl,

Pics still there in "Contact" mode. But when phone is active, shouldn't the contact pic appear on the inside screen?

Anyone else encounter this?

This once happened to me. It seems you have a corrupt contact database (on the pictures part, its a bug from firmware version v4.44). First of all, try restarting the phone, if it doesnt work, try a partial restore of contacts only from a previous backup, not the latest backup you restored (if you have one) If you dont, then u will have to format the phone and start with a new database.
