Autolock

I noticed, while nosing in the Z drive of my 6630 that there is a folder and application called Autolock.

Running the app produces nothing but a brief flicker of the screen so I wondered what it does. There is an image of a great big key in the .mbm file.

I got an Autolock app from http://fuse.stc.cx/autolock/ in the end, but what is the version we have in the ROM?

Chris

thats just to lock the phone, not key lock, press the off/on button once on ur phone and go down to lock phone, then it displays the lock mbm to hide everything from the screen. to unlock just type ur unlock code, (if you dont know what it is, its probably 12345)

You sure it's not LOCK UP?

I pressed that and the whole damn thing froze. Had to pull the bloody battery out the back lol!

Worked second time though - never knew about that feature.. cheers

when the phone lock feature is pressed, you should see a big key in the screen and this be act as keypad lock or phonelock or whatever... Press the left softkey and it'll prompt for password, factory defualt is 12345.
To set this lock timing, go to settings, security, phone and sim, autolock, chose user define and set the timing. after this scoll down one more step to change your own lock code.
now you dont have to instal other keypad lock sw, you can use this as auto keypadlock with the unlock code as added security feature.
