OK - So I "cleaned up" my install of mrouter 3.1 (those of you that have attempted BT know what this is) and in the process had to uninstall PC Connect as well.
I manually cleaned the registry of all entries of mrouter and Sendo as well (might as well start from scratch, right?).
Reboot and reinstall PC Connect (web version) and... nothing.
PC Connect installs just fine, but it refuses to find any of my handsets.
The version of mrouter that it installs works just fine as well as I can get a passthrough connection to the web via the USB cbale.
I have already removed and reinstalled the drivers for the X as well (the port USB driver).
the ONLY thing i can think of that is "different" is that on this machine i had a version or two of mrouter installed when i had my nokia pc suite software insrtalled and then removed it.
with this instance, i have totally removed all the mrouter references (first time i have done this) and then re-installed the software (pc connect - only after reg editing it out as well).
Anyone else have this problem or have any thoughts on the issue? :icon4:
