Hi!
Why does nobody write any normal VPN client for 9500?
All these companies/people write tons of those games and other useless software and nobody writes such a important utility as VPN client.
Is it so difficult to write?
This original NOKIA's client is USELESS because it requires those NOKIA's VPN policy servers, etc. That means organizations which uses other VPN servers cannot use this NOKIA's client!
I even became NOKIA Club member to get help on this issue (maybe they could send me some policy file which could conect me to my Cisco system, I thought), but they just answered me: "We don't support VPN software for Norway"!
Kazio
:frown: 😡 :icon4: :icon13: 😮
Did you ever got a reply to this? I have the same problem as you do. When trying to connect it says Policy Server Synchronization failed, probably due to the fact that I'm not trying to connect to a Nokia server. When going to the log it says
Unspecified error, source "ACU", error code -104011, state code 6
Anyone has an idea of that the hell this means?
😡
Hi all!
I have the same problem of kazio. Anyone has tryed/buyed a working solution to connect Nokia 9300 (or symbian phones) to internal LAN ?
Thanks to all
Paolo Konami
I have installed and tested Idokorro Mobile Access http://www.idokorro.com/index.shtml . Requires a system to be the internal server, SSL certificate, External static ip address, fireall changes to allow traffic and licensing for their product.... I would much prefer a vpn with remoted desktop though... ran across this forum while hunting for other options as i really do not want to manage this much, but on the other hand I do want to have the remote access.
have you checked AnthaVPN or MovianVPN?
I have never used those, but seems like worth giving a try.
The problem is that the free native mobile VPN client from Nokia only support IPSec protocol, which is not supported by most VPN providers. Here is more detailed instruction: http://is0.eu/nokia4vpn
