I have a 9500, and I'm curious about two things.
1. Is it possible for the outside screen to display a photo associated with a contact, when that contact calls?
2. I have a dark wallpaper for the cover screen. Is it possible to change the font to white so I can see?
Thanks!
Noah

1. No, the picture is only shown in the inside screen.
2. No

Actually, you can change the font color of the pda desktop screen IF you're using Symbianware's PowerDesk 😊
Pretty crap isn't it!!
Makes you wonder why BOTHER putting such a screen on the front of the phone, & then apart from showing the basic rudimentory stuff, it's hardly used for anything else. To be able to show a PIC when a call comes in Should NOT be beyond it's capabilities.
Another Gripe with the 9500, is its hands free capability. Its DUMB that you HAVE to open the phone, when the speaker is completely exposed one end & the mic at the other.
Granted on the 9300 it is necessary to open the phone for the sake of the speaker, as it is partially covered by the folding screen, but NOT on the 9500.
Having to open the phone to do hands free, is a badly thought out operating system floor, & one I'm sure that could be fixed with a firmare alteration, as with showing a pic on the front.
Makes you wonder if Nokia Really DO listen to their customers when developing technology, or if they just sit in a corner & wank off in their own little world.
