Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Nokia 6260 and I like it very much (despite the crappy mp3 sound and video sound, but that's irrelevant as I was aware).
However, I have three questions.
1. Since I was running out of space on the phone itself and I had roughly 23mb on my MMC 32MB card, I decided to transfer videos, pictures etc to the card. However, when I go to the MMC card section and go to videos; there is nothing there except the bluetooth vides; despite the fact there is far less memory now, the memory that was transferred. What is the problem?
2. Is this the USB cable I need to connect it from my phone to the computer to transfer?
3. What's the best 3rd party camera application? I would like one that has night video as well and doesn't make that annoying 'click' sound, or if it still makes the click sound; the picture is taken at the click, not two minutes after.
Cheers.
well..i dont know the answer for no.1 ..but i have for number 2 n 3..
2.Yes..that is the cable.
3.well..u can find some interesting 3rd party camera application at www.handago.com ....but its only a trial version...there's one camera application which i think could zoom up to 2500%..n its smooth..
Cheers for that, I appreciate it. I believe I have fixed 1, and I guess I will look around for more camera applications.
But if anyone else has anymore 3rd party (and preferably free) camera applications that is better than the default Nokia one, than I would be really interested in hearing.
However, I will be looking around.
Well, if u r using bluetooth to send the videos to your phone, then u must copy them and place them in the folder u've chosen, or the folder u meant that u can't find the files. These can normally be done by using any file manager.
3rd party camera application? Which do u prefer, quality or features?
I've some here such as Flexi cam pro and Camera FX.
Anyway, i prefer to use the original integrated phone camera becoz its quality is better.
I'm happy to help others and if u really want some applications, maybe u can tell me. I've quite lot of them in a list that is more than 100.
How about a free IRC application? I had a trial one, but emphasis on free. :P
IRC? Do u mean IR Remote?
Erm..
I have a few with full version, but i think not the latest.
I meant Internet Relay Chat (IRC), the most popular Windows application for that is mIRC. I had WirelessIRC for awhile but it was 14 day trial.
For IRC freeware you would need to look at one of the Java midlets such as VIRC - see http://www.vidarholen.net/contents/virca/
As for free camera software, no not really, you would have to buy one.
BTW you should have had a USB cable in the box with your phone.
