A friend of mine purchased webviwer. He had to down;oad 2 files: one that .jad and the other .jar. He had to send both files to his phone and was required only to install the .jad file which was only 1kb.
I've been reading in other threads here that only the .jar has to be installed. If so, what's the purpose of the .jad file?
Well If I am not mistaken the JAD file works like an installer to phones that do not have one! Like older Java enabled phones! The 7650 does not need the Jad file!
The .jar file is the actual program
The .jad file is the Java Application Description file. Its needed by some phone to describe what the app is.
