I recently reset my Nokia 9290 Using the key combo (CTRL SHIFT F) and I was expcting it to reset to the factory settings/software like if those of you who have had a Pocket Pc running windows CE know that when you hard reset it resets everything and puts the factory preinstalled apps on it. So how can I get theses back or does nokia offer a software package that includes everything. becuase now when i turn it on I dont have any office apps background (factory) extra such as cell broadcast (CBS), recorder, help , and other things

Any help?

Thanks,

:frown: How come nobody is helping me out on my problem? I don't know what to do to go out of the download mode, so I can start using my phone to make calls, receive, play music, just like old times before I tried updating..please help me.:frown:

I was just thinking about doing a hard reset on my 9290 and read this thread and went to the link provided for the 92910 and the software is no longer available. I am not wondering if I dare do the reset or not.

"Due to Symbian software licensing agreements, backup versions of Symbian applications for the Nokia Communicator 9210 are no longer available for download. To reinstall sales package software on your Nokia Communicator, please refer to the CD-ROM included in the sales package."

Thanks,
Bobby
