6600 & stereo?

Hello,

I have just got a 2nd hand Nokia 6600.

From what I have read, it is not possible to play stereo from that unit, but AACPlayer looks to claim that as a possibility, is that a software thing via BT?

Would someone explain...or point me to the answer?

(I have searched and go more confused, so need to ask the question)

Presumably it only supports stereo playback only on a devices which have stereo output capabilities in hardware (and doesn't on devices without).
