Program that switches off the phone

Hi,

I need a program that switches off the phone (my button is broken), so I
thought this may not be too hard to program.
Can perhaps anyone give me an idea how this program may look like? It is
really only suppossed to switch off the phone, nothing more.

Not possible (at least not with a MIDP Java application).

Which phone (model) is "the phone", exactly, by the way?

It's a Siemens SX1.

Is it possible in any other way e.g. using a different language?
