Ir remote now works!!!

I've just check the Psiloc website and the X is not supported by Ir Remote.
U must have mistakened the seimens SX1 for the Sendo X.

Most psiloc applications work on the X. I'd be surprised if IRremote didn't work.

I have tested ir Remote before with firmware 1.98xxx and 1.198.xxxx and i can tell you that ir remote does not support the X.

I wish i did work with the X.....but sadly it doesnt.

It doesn't surprise me that it would surprise you!

So what's the verdict on IRremote, does it work or doesn't it? I tried it a while ago (on the previous firmware) and it didn't and the Psiloc website still says that the X isn't supported.

anyone plz let me know whether ir remote works for 6630 and 6680 or not, they don have a irda but do have bt, cooperation will be highly appreciated, thanks

As for compatibility with the X (this being the Sendo forum), I would suggest someone tries it. If it works, then great. If it doesn't, at least you'll have an answer.

I've tried it, and it didn't work... the installation installed well, but when you launch it, it said that this phone is not supported...

Unfortunately, my IRDA stopped working, i'm not sure if it is consecutive or not, but i have some doubt that removing this app remove some piece of software that drive irda functions...

I put my ref in the dedicated thread, but no niew for the time being.... it is a bit long now!! :frown:
I believe there is a mix between two pb :
-the irda "red light".."visible" throgh plastic transparency/short battery life (???)
-the REAL irda pb when it don't work, like in my case: THIS IS THE PB!

:icon4: Let me propose a way to check software : one guy with a working software under last version could list all the files he hold on the sendo, on a pc, like mine... I mean by using a file editor, listing all the hierarchy, all the folders and all the files, in order to compare a non working irda sendo x to check if all the piece of software are there... or if anybody knox directly where to check?...please let me know!!!

What i can insure is that my sendo has never been hurt nor dropped, and therefore i can not think it is an hardware pb, i principally rely on a piece of soft missing...

All of the Psiloc's application have the trial option. You can run application for free for a short period of time and chcek if it's compatible with your mobile.

Same here with system tools. I wanted this especially because of the flightmode option. (Flying from NL to HongKong takes some time...)
Psiloc's website stated that it supported the X, but it just didn't...:frown:
Somehow I can understand the cynical way Messus is responding😉
