Contacts not recognized by sendox — Sendo X & X2 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

Hi All,

Hope someone can help me...
Yesterday I bought a sendo x. I installed the newest firmaware (1.189.8.2),
and everything works perfect. Exept...
When I receive a phonecall, only the number is shown. It looks like he doesn't look in his contacts for a corresponding contact.
I tried to add a tumbnail picture... but notting is shown ecxept the number itself.
When I call the same number from my phone, the name and picture is shown...

I am sure the problem is not with my provider, because my other (old) phone had no problem with this. Is there a setting that i should set?

Hoping someone can give me the answer! :frown:

silly question - have you synched your X with outlook or some such? meaning - have you loaded the contacts onto the X itself and not just on the SIM?

Okay, I found the solution... :icon14:
It seems to be a setting in the phones menu.
Goto --> Settings --> Phone --> second tab(call settings) --> send Identification.
This setting should say set by provider !
I put mine to YES, and then it didn't work any longer. Setting it back to the 'set by provider' solved this issue!
