Erm -> cheaper way to transfer files to phone w/o IR/BT

I just (without realizing it) spent 15$ emailing various things to my 7650.... never knew GPRS was that expensive :/ Is there any cheaper way to transfer files to the phone, without using either IR or bluetooth? Like a really cheap way of receiving emails?

Thanks..

Yes using the regular ISP that you use when connecting to the internet with the PC! Create an access point with the username, password and dialup number set the call as analogue and you will be charget as a local call (if you havent got free minutes).

Wow, that really works? How awesome 😊 But when you open your e-mail inbox with a 7650, it automatically tries to initiate GPRS connection... how do you prevent it from doing that?

Edit: Forget that! 😊 heh, should I set it as GSM or high-speed GSM? ANd what do I enter as IP adress?

you sure it works like that?
I rang up the ISP and tele company and they said that which ever way you do it, regardless of weather you use your ISP or GPRS, youll end up paying for either the KB downloaded through the phones modem, or for the call costs.
