I just transfered a bunch of MIDI files via blue tooth to my Nokia 6260. They ended up in my inbox. I would like to move them to a folder on my memory card but the only option under the "move to folder" option is to "my folders". Then when I move them to "my folders" the only option is to move them to "inbox". Why are my choices so limited? Is there any way of using the menus that came with the phone to access the other folders?
Thanks...Peter
Open the message and in the player that gets launched choose the save option. After you've saved it that way, you can remove the message.
Thanks for your reply,
I noticed that before that I can open each file with real player and then it gives me the option to save. But this is very clumsy way to move files around. Do you know if anyone has a script which modifies the message viewer menu to allow you to move files normally?
Thanks...Peter
If you use Bluetooth with PC Suite (http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite) then you can place the files directly in, e.g., c:\Nokia\Sounds\Digital on the phone without going through messaging.
On the phone you could also install FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com/) and use it to locate message attachments under c:\system\mail on the phone, and copy them to where ever you'd like to place them. However, be careful in c:\system\mail (don't change or delete anything there, and to remove things remove them from within the Messaging app).
